The Ortofon 2M Blue is a high-mid range moving magnet (MM) cartridge, equipped with a nude elliptical diamond stylus mounted directly onto the aluminum cantilever, which improves groove tracking and reduces distortion compared to models with a bonded stylus. It delivers an output of 5.5 mV, a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, and a recommended tracking force of 1.8 g.
