"The Lost Concert: Live at Llangollen 1995" rescues the historic recital that Luciano Pavarotti gave at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his first choral triumph in 1955. Accompanied by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Leone Magiera and the Corale Gioachino Rossini of Modena, the tenor performs a repertoire that combines opera arias, Neapolitan songs, and a composition of his own, closing with a duet alongside Japanese soprano Atzuko Kawahara. The Blu-ray edition also includes a 53-minute documentary about Pavarotti's return to Llangollen.
