Released on August 14, 2026, by Transgressive Records, 'Sparks Live on the Moon' is Ron and Russell Mael's first full live album in a career spanning over five decades. Recorded—according to the duo's own mythology—in the Taruntius crater, near the Mare Fecunditatis, following the conclusion of their 2025 world tour in support of 'MAD!', the record features Cate Blanchett as mistress of ceremonies and spans twenty essential tracks from the Sparks catalog: from the glam classic 'This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us' and the disco milestone 'The Number One Song in Heaven' to 'So May We Start' from the film Annette and 'The Girl Is Crying in Her Latte'. Double CD edition.
