Pylon is Beabadoobee's fourth album and was born from the isolation of the road: Bea Kristi wrote it while touring to support This Is How Tomorrow Moves, in dressing rooms and hotel rooms, watching high-voltage towers pass by the window. The result is her loudest and least polished record, with classic grunge, Midwest emo, and nineties radio rock as coordinates. It features Hayley Williams on 'Nothing to Prove', Brendan Yates of Turnstile on 'Powerlines', and collaborations from Chino Moreno of Deftones and Evan Stephens Hall of Pinegrove.
