The Geese frontman was 24 years old, and that solo debut had made him one of the most talked-about voices of the year — a phrasing somewhere between Tom Waits and Van Morrison that seems to have come from another decade. This recording captures the complete performance and includes three unreleased compositions that premiered that night: 'It All Fell in the River', 'Emperor XIII in Shades', and 'If You Turn Back Now'.
