The original soundtrack composed by Marco Beltrami for Scream (1996), Wes Craven’s film that redefined teen horror cinema, returns in a 30th-anniversary deluxe edition from Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings. It was Beltrami’s first major commission—he would later score 3:10 to Yuma, The Hurt Locker, and Logan—and in it, he constructed a nervous, surgical sonic language: dissonant strings, metallic percussion, and silences that became the signature sound of Ghostface and the entire Woodsboro saga. This remastered reissue comes pressed on Final Phone Call Blue Vinyl, an indie-store exclusive limited edition.
