Black Holes & Revelations is the fourth studio album by Muse, released in 2006 by Warner Bros. Records and recorded between New York and the south of France. The record combines rock riffs with synthesizers and orchestral arrangements, in compositions influenced by the conspiracy theories that interested Matthew Bellamy, among them Cydonia, a region of Mars that gives its name to the album's closing track, 'Knights of Cydonia'. It also includes the singles 'Starlight' and 'Supermassive Black Hole'.
