Silver Apples is the self-titled debut album by the American duo, released in 1968 by Kapp Records. Simeon Coxe built his own electronic instrument, dubbed 'The Simeon', from nine oscillators salvaged from decommissioned military radio equipment, and played it with his hands, feet, and elbows. The record is considered an early precursor to electronic music and synth-pop, featuring tracks such as 'Oscillations' and 'Lovefingers'.
