Recorded Live and Best ~ Early Alfa Years is the definitive live compilation of the first golden era of Casiopea, the band that brought Japanese fusion to its peak. The record selects the best performances from three essential live albums from the Alfa label — Thunder Live (1980), Mint Jams (1982), and Casiopea Live (1985) — featuring the classic lineup of Issei Noro on guitar, Minoru Mukaiya on keyboards, Tetsuo Sakurai on bass, and Akira Jimbo on drums. This 2026 limited edition, part of the City Pop on Vinyl campaign, marks the analog debut of the compilation on double 180-gram vinyl.
