Palabritas y Palabrotas (2022) is Diego Lorenzini’s most ambitious work: twenty-four songs that display the full breadth of the singer-songwriter from Talca’s acid humor, tenderness, and critical aim. Recorded with a large band and a palette ranging from lo-fi folk to chamber pop, the album wanders through Instagram morality, fake news, K-Pop, gentrification, and everyday love without ever losing the pulse of popular song. It features collaborations with Niña Tormenta, Alba Morena, Erlend Øye, Tomás Gubbins, Maite Pizarro Granada, Stefano Ortisi, and Antonio Iannola, among others. Double vinyl edition by Uva Robot.
