Brasilian Skies is the sixth studio album by Japanese guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka, originally released in 1978 by Kitty Records. Recorded with Brazilian musicians in Rio de Janeiro, the record blends jazz fusion, funk, and Brazilian rhythms into a warm, instrumental sound that has become a cult classic for collectors of city pop and Japanese jazz-funk. This transparent sky blue vinyl reissue includes the original obi.
