The Desired Effect (2015) is the second solo studio album by Brandon Flowers, lead singer and founder of The Killers. Produced alongside Ariel Rechtshaid, the record adopts a bright, 80s-inspired synth-pop sound, featuring samples from Bruce Springsteen and Corey Hart and guest vocals from Ashley Amara. It is a more electronic and pop-oriented shift from his solo debut Flamingo, celebrated as one of Flowers' most personal and danceable works.
