Marquee Moon, released in 1977 by Elektra Records, is Television's debut album and one of the cornerstones of the New York punk and post-punk scene that emerged from CBGB. With the intertwining guitars of Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd, the record redefined the boundaries of alternative rock thanks to expansive compositions like the epic "Marquee Moon," considered one of the best songs in rock history.
