Distance in Static is the new studio album from Bonobo (Simon Green), his first full-length record since Fragments (2022), released by Ninja Tune on September 11, 2026. Much of the material was recorded at Neil Young's Broken Arrow Ranch studio in California and includes collaborations with Arooj Aftab, Joy Crookes, Nilüfer Yanya, and Ichiko Aoba, featuring lyrics in English, Urdu, and Japanese. This CD edition comes in a trifold card wallet format with an insert and a limited PVC sleeve.
